Margarita Mancheva PT, DPT

Physical Therapist, Owner

Dr. Mancheva is a graduate of Cal Poly Pomona where she received her B.S. in Animal Science followed by her doctorate from the University of Southern California. She furthered her education by attending Movement Science Dysfunction courses detailing impairment syndromes of the spine and shoulder, knee injuries related to hip and ankle dysfunction and utilizing specific manual therapy techniques to treat the body. Her passion for physical therapy had her branch out and developed an interest in helping rehabilitate cancer survivors in the process of returning to activities of daily living and pursued a certification in LeDuc Lymphedema management to help patients post surgically and with other invasive cancer treatments. Sports medicine is another realm in which she has grown her skill set. Cycling being one of her passions, she went on to be certified as an intermediate level bike fitter which helps her understand and develop injury prevention programs for different types of cyclists as well as evaluate and treat their current condition on and off the bike. Her personal experience in cycling, soccer and the martial arts help her dissect an activity into individual movements and create a functional and holistic approach to rehabilitation.
