Specialty Programs

  • Sports medicine and sport specific training for all athletes. Our programs utilize evidence-based knowledge to challenge and progress each athlete to ensure a return to the desired level of competition.
  • Lymphedema Management. Physical therapists certified in the LeDuc method of Lymphedema management will treat patients who have been diagnosed with lymphedema, have had lymph node removal, experienced lymphatic overload post surgically, and radiation therapy with Decongestive Therapy.
  • Oncology Rehabilitation. Patients who have been diagnosed with cancer and are undergoing cancer related treatments must maintain flexibility and strength in order to ensure the strongest possible recovery. FMPT provides the therapeutic treatment necessary to increase the patient’s flexibility and strength.
  • Tactical Strength and Conditioning Program. Designed for military, fire and rescue, law enforcement, protective services and other emergency personnel, FMPT, with therapists certified through the National Strength and Conditioning Association, applies scientific knowledge and methods to target and rehabilitate industry-specific injuries.
  • Aquatic Therapy. This type of advanced physical therapy allows a larger population of patients to reap the rewards of therapy without the barriers of traditional therapeutic measures.
  • Balance Training. FMPT provides its patients with extensive, individualized assessments to determine the cause of the patient’s balance deficits. By helping to strengthen key muscle groups and target specific body systems, FMPT therapists are able to increase the patient’s balance, decrease his or her risks of falling, and increase their overall quality of life.
  • Geriatric Rehab. FMPT offers proven treatment methods for elderly patients of all physical levels. The geriatric population require focused attention to strength, balance and mobility. FMPT has programs specifically geared to enhance those attributes, and increase their quality of life.
  • Osteoporosis Management. Research has shown that a regular, properly designed exercise program can help reduce the negative effects of osteoporosis, maintain healthy bones and reduce the risk of fall-related injuries. FMPT’s specially designed treatments focus on weight-bearing and muscle strengthening exercises which have proven to build and maintain bone density.
